Your idea is worth nothing (and neither is ours)

Every so often someone turns up with an idea and an NDA. First you sign. Then another document. Then a call to “align”. And finally, if you’re lucky, they tell you the idea.

An eBay for Lego. A Tinder for dogs. The Uber of scooters.

What’s worth something

Here’s something almost nobody likes to hear: your idea is worth nothing. Ours isn’t worth anything either.

What’s worth something is pulling it off. Designing it, building it, selling it, and getting through the months when nobody uses it. Nobody copies that by reading a PDF.

“If someone can copy your business just by hearing about it, the problem isn’t the missing NDA. It’s the business.”

Javier Hernández, co-founder and technical director at Doko Studio

When we sign

If there’s customer data, proprietary code, a patent or your company’s accounts involved, we’ll sign whatever it takes. That makes sense.

When we don’t

If you ask us for an NDA before we quote for a website or an app, we won’t spend a single minute looking at your project.

It isn’t pride. People who guard the idea that closely tend to guard the execution very little, and the execution is exactly what you’ll be paying us for.

How we work

If you have a project and don’t need us to sign anything to hear about it, get in touch. We’ll reply with a price.
