Carlos López Legaz is an illustrator and graphic designer whose work focuses on conceptual editorial illustration and visual communication. Lover of wordplay and concept associations creates the most striking images, avoiding the obvious and encouraging the reader’s interpretation.
The design project for Mr Legaz posed a challenge that went beyond building a functional website: it was about creating a digital space capable of faithfully reflecting the visual universe of an illustrator with a strong and distinctive identity. The platform needed to become a natural extension of his work, respecting his graphic language, his iconic imagery, and his artistic sensitivity.
The main goal was to develop a fully custom-made website, designed to adapt to the client’s specific needs, both in terms of showcasing his portfolio and creating a smooth browsing experience. Every detail —from the layout to the interactions— was crafted to match his personal style, achieving a balance between artistic expression and clarity.
The result is a site that not only displays his work, but also conveys his creative world in a coherent, thoughtful, and authentic way, connecting with the audience through a unique visual approach fully aligned with his identity as an illustrator.
